About Our College
Botany Downs Secondary College is a public, coeducational high school. We have 2000 students from 13-18 years old and we currently host 50 international students.
Our college is located in Botany Downs, a suburb forty minutes from Auckland which is New Zealand’s largest city (and the most livable city in the world 2021). Botany Downs is a relatively new affluent area that was primarily developed in the early 2000's. The college has developed a reputation for innovation, quality of education and a genuine commitment to individual student support.
We provide excellent opportunities for students in all our subject areas however our areas of strength include: Mathematics, Science, Technology and the Arts.
