Welcome to Papanui High School
We have a long tradition of welcoming and educating International Students, with over 30 years' experience. Come and experience the creativity, the compassion and the diversity of Papanui High School.
We offer a wide range of subjects and we aim to meet everyone's learning needs by providing each student with an individual timetable. We also have an intensive English course for those students who do not yet have an intermediate level English to allow them to join our mainstream classes.
The students are always impressed with the kindness of our staff and students and with the quality of the homestays we can offer.
Many of our international students come here for the new subjects that they can study, which they can't take in their own countries. Our most popular courses are Outdoor Education, Dance, Hospitality, Music and Art. Art can also be divided into separate areas of Art Design, Printmaking, Sculpture, Painting and Photography.
