We are the leading girls’ school in Wellington, New Zealand. Accommodation
International Students at Queen Margaret College have different living options, depending on their age and circumstances:
Year 1-8 must live with a parent (or legal guardian), however in Year 7-8 girls are welcome to board in Queen Margaret House. Year 9-13 may live with a Designated Caregiver, a QMC approved homestay, or in Queen Margaret House.
Queen Margaret House opened in 2018 and is a state-of-the-art boarding hostel, housing up to 40 students in modern, private rooms. It offers a safe and structured environment with superb academic support. Queen Margaret House is home to students from all over the globe, and domestic students from across New Zealand. We even have a Japanese bath!
