Whangarei Girls’ High School is located in the beautiful Northland region, with New Zealand’s warmest climate and pristine beaches and forests. Our school has a role of 1400 students, including approximately 25-30 international students each year.

Students enjoy our expansive school grounds, as well as the fact that we are just a 10 minute walk to the main city centre, sports grounds, supermarkets and cafes. Also within 10 minutes of the school are a range of stunning walking and biking tracks through award-winning nature reserves.

Within the school and wider community, there are hundreds of clubs and teams students can join, including a very wide range of sports, theatre, music, culture and much more!
